Welcome! My name is Tabitha Johnson and I am a newborn photographer based out of Fruitland Park, Florida serving the Central Florida area. Photography has been my passion for the last eight years. As a nurse who specializes in obstetrics, I also have a big heart for newborns! So one day I decided to put the two together and whalah! I love it! I am always looking for new clients and would love to make precious memories of your newborn. They’re only little for a little while! Book your newborn or baby session today!

General Q&A:

Q: Who is your clientele?

A: I understand that my pricing isn’t for everyone. High quality portraiture is a quality investment that you can cherish for a lifetime. In time, the value of the images that you will receive will be far beyond any monetary amount paid.

Q: Where does the photography session take place?

A: The photography session will take place in my home studio where I have all of my photography equipment set up to streamline the process to capture your newborn’s photos.

Q: How do I go about booking a session?

A: Shoot me an email with what you are looking for or give me a call. We can then set up a time for a pre-consult to discuss the details of your newborn photoshoot (This can be done in person or over the phone). At the time of this consult, you have the option to go ahead and book your session or you may take some time to think it over and will receive a follow-up email from me to book your photography session.

Q: What do you charge?

A: A sitting fee of $600 is charged up front and must be paid before your session. A $200 print credit is given to order prints during our viewing session after the photoshoot.

Q: When can I expect the images after my session?

A: About 2-3 weeks after the photography session, we will schedule the in-person viewing session at your place of choice. This is where you will see the final fully-edited images. You can expect 30+ images to choose your prints from. At this session we will also go over what prints you’d like of each image. After our viewing session, I will order the prints. Once they come in, as long as they are up to my high standards, I will schedule a time to meet with you again to deliver the products.

Q: Do you deliver digital copies of the photos?

A: A regular session fee does not include any digital images. However, during our viewing session, you may purchase digital copies of your images, either in standard or high resolution depending on your needs.

Q: Do you photograph other people/events?

A: Yes! Let me know what you need and I’ll get back to you.

Newborn Specific Q&A:

Q: When do I schedule a session?

A: It’s best to schedule a session in your last trimester before the baby is born. We will plan the session for within ten days of your due date as this is the best time to photograph your bundle of joy. If you deliver early, no problem! We will move your session up and plan it for within ten days of delivery.

Q: How old does the newborn have to be?

A: Newborns are best photographed within ten days of delivery as they tend to sleep more during this time. They are also more flexible during this time, making posing your little one easier. However, newborn photography is not limited to the first ten days. Memories can be made at any point along the journey! Shoot me an email or give me a call to set up a session!

Q: What can I expect at a session?

A: The photography session is a stress-free time that you can stand by and watch your little one be photographed. Take a load off, you deserve it! A newborn photography session typically takes 3-5 hours as we are on baby’s time! We will break for feedings and diaper changes. As baby is photographed in his/her birthday suit, messes are also expected. No worries though! All props used are washed after each session anyways.

Q: What should I bring?

A: Bring your baby bag (diapers, wipes, milk/formula, binkie). If there’s a special stuffed animal, blanket, etc that you’d like baby to be photographed with, feel free to bring that too. Otherwise, all photography props are provided including backdrops, wraps, hats, etc.
